I'm often asked how I make my boring diet taste good.
Below are some suggestions:
- Use spices to add flair to your meat and carb
dishes:
- Italian seasoning
- Cayenne pepper
- Garlic powder
- Oregano
- Rosemary
- Black pepper
- If you like salty foods, try a salt substitute
(made from potassium chloride; 1/6 tsp contains
530 mg (or 15% DV) of potassium):
- Use sugar substitutes in oatmeal, tea, etc.:
- Splenda
(tastes just like real sugar with NO chemical
aftertaste)
- Spice up sweet dishes:
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg (I add Splenda, cinnamon, and nutmeg
to my oatmeal in the mornings)
